Sol Ray is a professional entertainer and founder of two children's theatre charities, including Funforlife.

Sol has appeared in theatres and on TV entertaining tens of thousands of children in England and abroad. He has worked with film and TV stars like Jerome Flynn, Linus Roach, and Adrian Rawlins (Harry Potter's Dad!) and been helped in his charity work by celebrities such as Robson Green, Emma Thompson, Radiohead, Doris Lessing, Quentin Blake, Alan Plater, Alan Ayckbourn, David Hare, Desmond Morris, Esther Freud, Fay Maschler and Jan Pienklowski.

He has also worked in collaboration with organisations like The Red Cross, UNICEF, Save the Children, UNHCR and War Child, Danish People's Aid etc. His work with Rise Phoenix and Funforlife has been featured on BBC 24; ITV Central; Richard and Judy; Tamil TV; Oxford Channel Six; Daily Telegraph; The Sun and Oxford Mail.

Sol lives with his partner Penny in Devon.
